The Titans bet big and early on Nadame Tucker, 35 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Everette pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 4 they get an every-down engine for the run game. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Chris Brazzell II in the Round 2 slot is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Josiah Trotter in slot 66 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Daylen Everette at Round 4, Pick 1 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Nadame Tucker at pick 142 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Malik Benson in No. 144 is fair value, right on his grade. It fills a real need, too.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Ar'maj Reed-Adams at Round 6, Pick 3. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Zane Durant at the 194th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Dallen Bentley at No. 225 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
