The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jabbar Muhammad, the No. 152 name on the board, in the 207th pick.
The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

In the 29th pick they get a true top target, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
TreVeyon Henderson in Round 2, Pick 29 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Taking Jonah Savaiinaea in slot 79 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
