There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Patriots started one anyway for Carson Steele, 94 picks ahead of schedule.

J.J. McCarthy gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The Liufau steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.
