The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Eagles reached some 29 spots for Jaylen Harrell, and value like that does not grow back. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They will answer for taking linebacker early while interior defensive lineman, offensive lineman and other spots went begging. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Simpson at that price is a win they earned.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
