Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Mike Sainristil got past him. The Chargers do not have to explain a thing at Round 4, Pick 6. The bottom line is a respectable B.
For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.
The skill positions did well by the weekend. Their trades came out a wash either way.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
