Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Dolphins, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Put together, it is a D.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The cost of the Barner reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They banked enough surplus on Kinchens to cover a lot of smaller sins.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a true top target, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A tidy bit of business in the 34th pick, where Kamren Kinchens graded well above the range. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Chop Robinson at pick 42 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They took Byron Murphy II at par in the 74th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
