The trade table was a mismatch, and the Giants were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.
Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Kinchens pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Tyler Guyton at Round 2, Pick 15 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Good price on Jackson Powers-Johnson in the 70th overall pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Cooper Beebe in the Round 4 slot is fair value, right on his grade. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Darius Robinson. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
