The Colts let Price fall and pounced. Final grade: D.

There is reaching, and then there is Bryce Foster at slot 215. The Colts jumped the board by 33 and dared it to prove them wrong. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Price steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.

Pick-by-Pick

R2.12 · Pick 44 · Chris Brazzell II · WR · rank 29
The board had Chris Brazzell II higher than slot 44, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
R2.15 · Pick 47 · Anthony Hill Jr. · LB · rank 38
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Anthony Hill Jr. at the Round 2 slot is the proof. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R3.14 · Pick 78 · Emmanuel McNeil-Warren · S · rank 51
Circle this one: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren at Round 3, Pick 14 is a fall that decides a draft. A minor need, but a need all the same.
R4.13 · Pick 113 · Jadarian Price · RB · rank 69
The board fumbled Jadarian Price all the way to No. 113, and they scooped it up. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
R5.5 · Pick 145 · Dametrious Crownover · OT · rank 143
No edge and no loss on Dametrious Crownover in slot 145; it is a wash and a sensible one. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R5.16 · Pick 156 · Beau Stephens · OG · rank 158
Beau Stephens in the 156th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
R6.33 · Pick 214 · Aiden Fisher · LB · rank 224
They liked Aiden Fisher enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 214. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
R6.34 · Pick 215 · Bryce Foster · C · rank 248
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Bryce Foster well ahead of where he belonged. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
