The Vikings spent the pick that matters most on J.J. McCarthy, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Newton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
