It is the swing that defines the weekend: Bub Means in the 193rd overall pick, a good 52 spots before the room expected him.

That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
