The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

They will need Randall to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They banked enough surplus on Orange to cover a lot of smaller sins. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
