The rest of the league had time to spare on Tyler Owens; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 39 spots ahead at No. 216.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Holker falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
