They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Michael Penix Jr. is the Commanders' quarterback, full stop.

Irving has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. That Hunt pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
