Start where it matters. The Commanders took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The Hampton pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. If Irving pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
