The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Bo Nix, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That Ulofoshio pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The Stover pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and tight end. Reaching for Tupuola-Fetui left real value on the table behind him.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
