Start where it matters. The Patriots took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
Getting Cowing where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 3 they get the arm they will build around. A clean fit for the roster.
A wide receiver of that caliber at the 35th pick is the definition of value, full stop. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
They did well to land Tyler Guyton in slot 67, just ahead of his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
