The Packers turned the phones into found money: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Packers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

Reaching for Bogle left real value on the table behind him. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Landing Burke that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.17 · Pick 17 · Javon Bullard · S · rank 19
Javon Bullard in pick No. 17 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
R2.11 · Pick 43 · Jermaine Burton · WR · rank 56
Jermaine Burton at the 43rd pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
R2.28 · Pick 60 · Leonard Taylor III · DL · rank 60
No edge and no loss on Leonard Taylor III in the Round 2 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R3.9 · Pick 73 · Denzel Burke · CB · rank 55
They barely believed it either: Denzel Burke still on the board at slot 73. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
R3.18 · Pick 82 · Amarius Mims · OT · rank 80
Amarius Mims at No. 82 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
R3.33 · Pick 96 · Christian Haynes · OG · rank 94
A straight-up fair deal on Christian Haynes at Round 3, Pick 33, value and slot in agreement. It fills a real need, too.
R4.9 · Pick 109 · Jalen McMillan · WR · rank 110
By-the-book stuff, Jalen McMillan at the 109th overall pick squarely in line with his ranking. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
R4.17 · Pick 117 · Jaheim Bell · TE · rank 119
Jaheim Bell in pick 117 is fair value, right on his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
R4.26 · Pick 126 · Beaux Limmer · C · rank 127
They took Beaux Limmer at par in No. 126, which is nothing to complain about. A need, and now a little less of one.
R4.35 · Pick 135 · Ricky Pearsall · WR · rank 122
Value with a capital V on Ricky Pearsall in Round 4, Pick 35, a genuine coup. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R5.21 · Pick 157 · T.J. Sanders · DT · rank 147
T.J. Sanders in pick No. 157 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. The roster fit checks out.
R6.12 · Pick 187 · Jordan Burch · DE-EDGE · rank 181
Jordan Burch at slot 187 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
R6.42 · Pick 217 · Chau Smith-Wade · CB · rank 204
They let Chau Smith-Wade come to them and pounced at the Round 6 slot. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R6.44 · Pick 219 · Bryson Nesbit · TE · rank 211
Bryson Nesbit at pick 219 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
R7.10 · Pick 230 · Joshua Gray · OT · rank 215
Nice patience on Joshua Gray, who had no business lasting to the 230th overall pick. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
R7.21 · Pick 241 · Khris Bogle · DE-EDGE · rank 266
They left a pile of value on the table to take Khris Bogle this early at the 241st pick. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
R7.34 · Pick 254 · Jalen Berger · RB · rank 270
A conviction pick on Jalen Berger at the 254th pick that the board grades a round light. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
