Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Devin Neal got past him. The Patriots do not have to explain a thing at slot 185. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They will need Foster to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
