Thirty-one other rooms let Devin Neal slide, and the Eagles were the ones holding the card at pick 152. Highway robbery.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Frazier to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
Somehow Jalon Walker was still sitting there in slot 49, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
You do not let a tight end like Harold Fannin Jr. reach Round 3, Pick 8 and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They will replay Andrew Mukuba at pick 95 for years; that is how good the value is. The roster fit checks out.
Omarr Norman-Lott in the 104th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They barely believed it either: Devin Neal still on the board at No. 152. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Joshua Gray in the Round 5 slot is fair value, right on his grade. It fills a real need, too.
Miles Frazier at the 192nd pick is a conviction pick that outran the value. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
