The Steelers spent real capital to be 86 picks early on Behren Morton, and the board is going to hold them to it. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Scott pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
