Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Chris Paul Jr. got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at the 170th pick. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

They will need Parrish to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Cowboys paired the rookies with proven help, Tyler Allgeier leading the way.

In the end it comes back to Ashton Jeanty, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
