You can hear the double-takes from here. The Cowboys took Jaydon Blue at slot 170, roughly 146 spots before his name belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Bond. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

Adding Grover Stewart by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
