If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Browns, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Muhammad steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
The Rashawn Slater deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Pick-by-Pick
In the 22nd overall pick they get a security blanket over the middle at fair value.
In the Round 1 slot they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker at fair value. More want than need.
No edge and no loss on Chris Bell in the 39th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Jake Slaughter is a better player than pick No. 70 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Value with a capital V on Malik Muhammad in slot 116, a genuine coup. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Fair-plus on CJ Daniels, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Skyler Gill-Howard at No. 149 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
By-the-book stuff, Drew Allar at pick 155 squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jeff Caldwell at the Round 6 slot. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They took Fa'alili Fa'amoe at par in slot 248, which is nothing to complain about. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
