Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Quinshon Judkins got past him. The Patriots do not have to explain a thing at No. 223. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Reaching for Williams left real value on the table behind him. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Spencer Brown gives the group a proven body among the projects.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
