The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jacob Cowing, the No. 142 name on the board, in slot 178. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The Commanders indulged a want in Solomon while a need in quarterback and interior defensive lineman stayed open.

Vidal has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Joe Alt and all.
