The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Anthony Belton, the No. 110 name on the board, sitting there at slot 144 like a gift left on the doorstep. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
