Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Keyshaun Elliott at pick No. 180 is 37 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
On value alone, Bell makes the weekend a net positive. The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
Pick-by-Pick
Value with a capital V on Jeremiyah Love in the 12th pick, a genuine coup. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
In Round 1, Pick 20 they get a security blanket over the middle at fair value. A real need, handled.
Steal is underselling it; Jacob Rodriguez at pick 92 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A wide receiver of that caliber at the Round 4 slot is the definition of value, full stop. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Louis Moore at the 152nd overall pick is a conviction pick that outran the value. A minor itch, scratched.
Kaleb Elarms-Orr in No. 177 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They reached into another round for Keyshaun Elliott, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
No edge and no loss on Thaddeus Dixon in pick No. 218; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
