The war room fell hard for Tanner McLachlan, and it showed at the 164th overall pick: 97 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
Getting Benson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

No drama and no debate, Edgerrin Cooper went about where he belonged in the 59th overall pick. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Malachi Corley at Round 3, Pick 22 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Circle this one: Trey Benson at No. 123 is a fall that decides a draft. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Malik Mustapha in the Round 4 slot is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
