The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Cornelius Johnson fell into pick No. 233. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 24 they get an anchor for the offensive line, reach and all. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Xavier Worthy at the 56th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
