Thirty-one other rooms let Danny Stutsman slide, and the Patriots were the ones holding the card at pick No. 143. Highway robbery.
If Clark pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
