The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Dwight McGlothern, the No. 161 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 2. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

Everything downstream of Jayden Daniels depends on Jayden Daniels, and the building knows it. Every board in the league had Travis lower, and that gap is the story. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.

In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
