The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: TreVeyon Henderson, Round 6, Pick 25, roughly 129 picks past where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
They are betting Williams proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Quinn Meinerz gives the group a proven body among the projects. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Aireontae Ersery at the 28th overall pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. A need, and now a little less of one.
You do not let a safety like Malaki Starks reach No. 41 and blink. They did not. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They reached a country mile for Mykel Williams at the 51st pick, and the board is aghast. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
A wide receiver of that caliber at Round 2, Pick 23 is the definition of value, full stop. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A wild overpay on Deone Walker in slot 72, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Jabbar Muhammad at pick No. 93 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A minor need, but a need all the same.
