They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Tampa pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots still on the board.
They will need Proctor to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Linton.
In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
