Boards are made to be trusted, and the Giants shredded theirs for Joe Milton III. He came off 98 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
In the end it comes back to Adonai Mitchell, and a haul good enough to build on right away.

A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Adonai Mitchell. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A reach on Christian Haynes in No. 47; the board had better options right there. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Jaylen Wright in pick 70 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
