The phones sank the Giants this weekend: C-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Giants shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Getting Jackson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a centerfielder for the defense at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
In Round 1, Pick 10 they get a lockdown presence outside. A real need, handled.
Emmanuel Pregnon in the 37th pick is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Skyler Bell at slot 73 is a conviction pick that outran the value. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Taurean York at pick No. 105 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Isaiah World at pick 145 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A conviction pick on Zane Durant at the 174th overall pick that the board grades a round light. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
No edge and no loss on DJ Campbell in No. 192; it is a wash and a sensible one. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Domani Jackson at pick No. 193 is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
