This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Malachi Moore, the No. 156 name on the board, stolen at No. 186.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Every board in the league had Thomas Jr. lower, and that gap is the story.
Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get juice off the edge at fair value. A real need, handled.
Value with a capital V on Terrion Arnold in pick 37, a genuine coup. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They reached a country mile for Brian Thomas Jr. at Round 2, Pick 22, and the board is aghast. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Graham Barton in slot 105 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Steal is underselling it; Khyree Jackson at the 142nd overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
They paid a round early for Christian Mahogany in the 183rd pick, more than the board wanted. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Malachi Moore at No. 186 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
