This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Skattebo, the No. 110 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If Jackson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th pick they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Donovan Jackson in slot 58 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A need, and now a little less of one.

Sonny Styles at Round 5, Pick 28 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
