This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Ollie Gordon II, the No. 159 name on the board, stolen at slot 241. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Capehart pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

In the Round 1 slot they get a building block for the line, reach and all.
Tyler Warren in pick No. 58 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It fills a real need, too.
Somehow Xavier Watts was still sitting there in the 89th pick, and they pounced on premier safety value. A minor need, but a need all the same.
They reached into another round for DeMonte Capehart, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
You do not let a safety like Sonny Styles reach Round 5, Pick 28 and blink. They did not. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
They barely believed it either: Ollie Gordon II still on the board at No. 241. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
