The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Bhayshul Tuten slide 86 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
By-the-book stuff, Kenneth Grant at Round 1, Pick 25 squarely in line with his ranking. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Tyler Booker in the 58th pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It fills a real need, too.
Taking Andrew Mukuba in the 89th overall pick is close to grand larceny; a safety that good had no business lasting this long. A minor itch, scratched.
No drama and no debate, Oronde Gadsden II went about where he belonged in the Round 4 slot. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Sonny Styles at No. 165 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
