The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Cam Skattebo, the No. 109 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 5 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
Every board in the league had Capehart lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Tyler Warren at pick 58 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
