The Texans cashed the board's mistake on Gordon II: B.

The Texans did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Ollie Gordon II fell into the 239th pick.
The Nwankpa pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 19 they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
The board fumbled Tyler Booker all the way to the 55th overall pick, and they scooped it up. The roster fit checks out.
Somehow Tyler Warren was still sitting there in Round 3, Pick 22, and they pounced on premier tight end value. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
You do not let a safety like Andrew Mukuba reach slot 122 and blink. They did not. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Xavier Nwankpa at the 164th pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Steal is underselling it; Ollie Gordon II at pick No. 239 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
