When a board-topper like Xavier Watts slides to the 89th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Texans did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
They will need Griffith to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
