A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 25 they get an anchor for the defensive front at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Tyler Booker in the 58th pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They will replay Jalen Royals at slot 89 for years; that is how good the value is. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Oronde Gadsden II at the 126th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A need, and now a little less of one.
Kevin Winston Jr. in No. 165 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
A top-tier running back at a bargain, Bhayshul Tuten in Round 7, Pick 25, plain and simple. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
