The rest of the league will want that one back. Raheim Sanders tumbling to the Texans in pick 241 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
They took Kenneth Grant at par in pick No. 25, which is nothing to complain about. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They let Tyler Warren come to them and pounced at slot 58. It fills a real need, too.
They barely believed it either: Xavier Watts still on the board at the 89th overall pick. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Steal is underselling it; Luke Kandra at the 126th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Somehow Jake Majors was still sitting there in No. 164, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. The roster fit checks out.
The board fumbled Raheim Sanders all the way to pick 241, and they scooped it up. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
