B
Houston Texans
The Texans cashed the board's mistake on Skattebo: B.
by Powerful ·
2025 NFL Draft
· 6 picks
· 5 steals
· 1 reaches
This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Skattebo, the No. 110 name on the board, stolen at No. 241. No fireworks, but a solid B.
Reaching for Jackson left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
Tetairoa McMillan in No. 25 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Donovan Jackson at pick 58 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Steal is underselling it; Armand Membou at the Round 3 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
Circle this one: Kevin Winston Jr. at the 126th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Taking Danny Stutsman in slot 165 is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They will replay Cam Skattebo at pick No. 241 for years; that is how good the value is. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
