The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Kevin Winston Jr., the No. 92 name on the board, sitting there at pick 164 like a gift left on the doorstep.
They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
