Houston Texans
The Texans robbed the room for Skattebo. Final grade: B-.

2025 NFL Draft
· 6 picks
· 3 steals
· 1 reaches
This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Skattebo, the No. 109 name on the board, stolen at No. 241.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. They will need Booker to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a cornerstone up front, though they paid up to get him.
Fair-plus on Tyleik Williams, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Jalon Walker in pick No. 89, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Oronde Gadsden II at slot 126 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Rod Moore in pick 165 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A minor itch, scratched.
The board fumbled Cam Skattebo all the way to No. 241, and they scooped it up. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
