This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Skattebo, the No. 110 name on the board, stolen at No. 241. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
They are betting Cross III proves the room right and everyone else wrong. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.
Job largely done: running back settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Tyler Booker in pick 25 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
The board fumbled Tate Ratledge all the way to the Round 2 slot, and they scooped it up. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Circle this one: Tyler Warren at pick No. 89 is a fall that decides a draft. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Howard Cross III at the 126th overall pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
