This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Skattebo, the No. 110 name on the board, stolen at the 241st overall pick.
If Capehart pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

In the Round 1 slot they get a long-term starter on the line, even if it was a touch early. A clean fit for the roster.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Tyler Warren at No. 58 is the proof. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Jalen Royals in pick No. 89 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
They reached into another round for DeMonte Capehart, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Kevin Winston Jr. in the 165th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Somehow Cam Skattebo was still sitting there in pick 241, and they pounced on premier running back value. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
