The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Andrew Mukuba, pick No. 164, roughly 94 picks past where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
If Capehart pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 25 they get a building block for the line. A clean fit for the roster.
Tyler Warren is a better player than pick No. 58 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
This one needs a full-page explanation: DeMonte Capehart in the 89th overall pick, miles early. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Luke Kandra in Round 4, Pick 25 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A need, and now a little less of one.
Andrew Mukuba at the Round 5 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Bhayshul Tuten at No. 241 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
